| 内容記述 | 本稿は、ダークツーリズ研究において課題として指摘されてきたダークツーリズムの媒介性と再帰性について、観光経験の分析を通して考察することを目的とする。事例としては、ダークツーリズム研究において、特に2008 年の済州4・3 平和公園の開園後、度々報告されてきているものの、朝鮮半島における政治社会的文脈や韓国現代史を踏まえた考察が必ずしも十分に行われていない、済州4・3 事件に関連するダークツーリズムを取り上げる。具体的には、済州4・3 平和公園に訪れる韓国籍訪問者と現地ガイドを対象に、訪問動機、訪問前後の済州4・3 事件に対する認識変化、済州4・3 事件と朝鮮半島における分断の関係性に関する認識およびその変化を主とする反構造的インタビュー調査と参与観察を行い、その結果を分析した。本研究では、韓国籍訪問者が済州4・3 事件に関連するダークツーリズムを通して、事件当時の過去（非日常）のみならず、同事件がタブー視された歴史（間）、そしてイデオロギー的対立とその継続という現在（日常）までを再帰的に考察することを明らかにした。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper aims to explore the role of mediation and reflexivity of dark tourism, which has been regarded as a challenge of the studies, through an analysis of the experience of “dark tourists.” As a case study, the Jeju April 3rd Incident was selected, on which research has been especially focused since the opening of the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park in 2008. While the motives and experience of tourists have been studied, the socio-political situation of the Korean Peninsula and contemporary Korean history have not been properly considered. Semi-structure interviews and participatory observation were undertaken with Korean tourists and the local guide vising the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park; their motives, perception of the Incident and its change, as well as the link between the division of Korea and the Incident were analyzed. Korean tourists reflexively (re)construct the “past”(extra-ordinary), “present” (ordinary), and the “in-between” (the continued taboo period) by visiting the Jeju April 3rd Peace Park. |
