An online survey\nwas conducted, measuring perceptions of job difficulty in six occupations,\nincluding low-wage essential workers such as caregivers and bus drivers. We\nmeasured various aspects of job difficulty, including physical skills, emotional\ncontrol, knowledge, qualifications, and pre-employment training. Participants\nalso provided estimates of appropriate salaries and evaluations of the fairness of\nactual annual wages.
