Doing theology is a political activity and everyday “praxis” for Asian Women. Kwan Yin is one of the symbols they have created to mediate between their own experience and Christian teachings. Kwan Yin is also believed to be rooted in the ancient Goddess worship that permeates through East Asian countries.
