In previous career studies the Career Satisfaction Scale (CSS) has been widely used to measure career success. However this scale does not ask about the degree of satisfaction during the entire period of involvement in work i.e. career but rather on how satisfied one is with the goals and achievements as a result of working. On the other hand the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) does not ask the current level of satisfaction achieved through life but rather the level of satisfaction over the entire life span from birth to the present. Therefore it is more appropriate to ask how satisfied people are during their entire career which is the period of their involvement in work rather than their goals or achievements. So in this study we tried to develop a career well-being scale that considers a career as all of the period not a point of time rather than as a goal or an achievement and that asks how satisfied one was with the whole career was. At that time we added the two measurement scales already mentioned the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) and the Career Satisfaction Scale (CSS) as well as new question items and conducted a web questionnaire on Google Forms. SEM analysis was performed on the resulting data and a total of 12 career wellbeing scales consisting of 6 factors and 2 items for each factor based on male data were constructed.
